Inspired by a trip to a family-owned distillery in Oregon, owner Thomas Soltau brought his passion for distilling back to Louisiana to embark on his own journey. What started as a hobby became Sugarfield Spirits Co., a Gonzales distillery, winery, and cidery that uses local ingredients to produce quality spirits, ciders, and wines.

Sugarfield offers unique experiences including tours of their facilities, lessons in distilling, spirits tastings, and an array of public and private events.
